Here's one for ya: Take a song or a oneliner and try to animate it in about a half an hour. So it's got to be very limited plus you got to work rather fast. I took the chorus of the Gorillaz song Clint Eastwood. I used some of the mouths a couple of times. Send me a link to your results!

Howdy folks, it's been a long time gone, I know. It's been rather busy 'cause of the work I was doing for Brendan and the Secret of the Kells. I tell you: it's going to be one hell of a kick ass monk movie! The talent that's working in Walking the Dog is amazing! Yoda would say: "Much to learn Keunemeun still has!" but then again Yoda is just a greenish hairy puppet so...Up the shut fuck!
This red haired kid will be the logo for a political newspaper. Selfrighteous little kid, ain't he?
And last but not least: a request for a friend: A diabetic babe: DIABABE
Here are the two stop motion movies I worked on. There pretty hard to find on you tube so I'll post them here for everyone to enjoy or loathe! yey
the first one,Eduard, we ( Koen Saelemaekers, Andreas de Ridder, Maarten van Rooy and me )made in our first year of animation. But it wasn't an assignement, we made it after our final exams.
the second movie, My First Paradise, isn't quite finished yet. We still have to put sound on it, plus we have to clean a bunch of shots ( so you can see the rigging we used to stabilize the puppets. )This was an assignement for our second year.
kick ass, a teacher at my school (and a studioboss) has given me the opportunity to become a 2D animator. When everything goes right I'll begin animating on the Irish feature film Brendan and the Secret of the Kells from august 1.
This is a walk animation excercise I did in the summer vacation of 2006. It's from Richard Williams' the animators survival kit. It's an adaptation of a walk by the great Milt Kahl. He used it in Disney's Robin Hood, when he animated the sheriff of Nothingham!
