oh boy, what a feast! at last, the much awaited feature film: the secret of kells is about to be released (by no less than Disney: Later I can tell my children that I was an intern on a disney feature :) but not really, because they only release the film. ) It was a kickass internship: and although there wasn't much work left, I still got to learn a lot. And I met plenty of fantastic animators, especially Pascal Vermeersch: kick ass animator, mentor and a big 'big lebowski' fan.
I can't wait to see it. I hope you all unleash a viking attack to your nearest kinepolis! and after the movie: to stay in the mood: drink a couple of guinnes stout beers!

Sculptures for 'Opgejut'

This are the reference models for my graduation shortfilm. I think this will make it a helluva lot easier to animate my characters. They are made of plasticine so I can modify them whenever I like. For example to alter the expression of the face.

Halloween party!!

Poster I made for a Halloweenparty. Dress up and get wasted: life can't get any better, doesn't it!

Lipsync finished!

Here is my lipsync excercise I did last year, but with some cool music from the Omen. Coloring in toon boom, post production in after effects (clouds, camera movements, titles) just like my graduation film. Hope you like it.

The end is near

I'm done with tracing the many many many ruff animation drawings for my 2 minute shortfilm. Not very exciting at all, my dear watson! So now it's time for scanning, coloring and the backgrounds!
