kick ass, a teacher at my school (and a studioboss) has given me the opportunity to become a 2D animator. When everything goes right I'll begin animating on the Irish feature film Brendan and the Secret of the Kells from august 1.
This is a walk animation excercise I did in the summer vacation of 2006. It's from Richard Williams' the animators survival kit. It's an adaptation of a walk by the great Milt Kahl. He used it in Disney's Robin Hood, when he animated the sheriff of Nothingham!
We had to make three stillframes of a short movie about a fairytale of Andersen. That movie will not be realised. It's just to see how the actual imagery would look like.
