Lipsync finished!

Here is my lipsync excercise I did last year, but with some cool music from the Omen. Coloring in toon boom, post production in after effects (clouds, camera movements, titles) just like my graduation film. Hope you like it.

I'm done with tracing the many many many ruff animation drawings for my 2 minute shortfilm. Not very exciting at all, my dear watson! So now it's time for scanning, coloring and the backgrounds!

Run And Draw

Here's one for ya: how about trying to improve your drawing skills AND develop a youthful physique at the same time? Impossible you say? Alas, my friends. It is possible. What are the ingredients: great weather, running shoes, shorts, a pencil and a sketchbook! the target: 1 hour running and 1 hour drawing! But not at the same time ofcourse. I ran to the Brielmeersen (a lovely park in Deinze), drew some animals and ran back home: Win win situation!

Half hour Lipsync

Here's one for ya: Take a song or a oneliner and try to animate it in about a half an hour. So it's got to be very limited plus you got to work rather fast. I took the chorus of the Gorillaz song Clint Eastwood. I used some of the mouths a couple of times.

Howdy folks, it's been a long time gone, I know. It's been rather busy 'cause of the work I was doing for Brendan and the Secret of the Kells. I tell you: it's going to be one hell of a kick ass monk movie! The talent that's working in Walking the Dog is amazing! Yoda would say: "Much to learn Keunemeun still has!" but then again Yoda is just a greenish hairy puppet so...Up the shut fuck!
